Dana Konja was born and raised in Carroll Gardens, a small neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. After spending ten years in San Diego, California, she and her husband, Daniel, eventually settled in the suburbs of Austin, Texas, with their dog, Dexter.

An avid reader with a passion for creating, drawing, traveling, and spending time with family, Dana finds inspiration wherever life takes her. Immersing herself in different cultures often sparks ideas for future stories, while the neighborhoods she has called home, the experiences throughout her life, and the people she loves all find their way into her novels.

The Lie We Live is her debut psychological suspense novel, with her next thriller already in development.
