Dana Konja was born and raised in Carroll Gardens, a small neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. After ten years in San Diego, she and her husband Daniel settled in the suburbs of Austin, Texas, with their dog, Dexter. An avid reader with a passion for creating, drawing, traveling, and spending time with family, Dana finds inspiration wherever life takes her — in the neighborhoods she has called home, the cultures she has immersed herself in, and the people she loves. All of it finds its way into her novels.
